5.0 Problem

Car runs great at idle and half throttle but as soon as you give it full throttle it cuts out. Any ideas?

sounds like not enough fuel or timing is off. i would try fuel filter first.

...and what exactly do you mean by "cuts out"? Are the fuel injectors cutting out when you stomp the thing to the floor or is it RPM dependant or what?

1st things 1st like BigmacK192 stated. run a KOEO test and check for codes. you could have a faulty tfi, a bad ignition coil, poor fuel pressure, etc. need some more info like what rpms, cruising, hot or cold, etc.

Doesnt matter if its hot or cold. At first it would idle fine and you could put it to half throttle and the fuel pressure would go to zero. My inline fuel pump relay had come disconnected. Havent checked it since so it could still be lack of fuel. Im just trying to see if it could be something simple before I go and put a whole aeromotive fuel system in it. It is high compression (11 to 1) and has a TF Stage III cam. My friend/mechanic was supposed to put it on his dyno also to see if it would tell him anything.
