So, who else blew apart all of their bushings on MAC upper / lower control arms

I just ordered all new bushings for both upper and lower control arms. When I finally was able to get the car in the air, one lower control arm bushing was totally destroyed, another one cut entirely in half and all others on their way out. That caused a really wierd feeling rear-steer and what was even scarier was when I took off. The car would pull right until I got off the gas, then it would snap back to the left and I would crap myself.

Well, I just dropped $60 bones on all new bushings. I guess my setup is too much for the MAC control arms.

Now, to save up for a full rear suspension change (torque arm / panhard bar / XD lower control arms, etc.)

Who else killed their MAC control arm bushings?!

I did grease them when I installed them 4 years ago, but the car sat in the garage for almost 2 years. I think they wound up dry rotting. Then I finished them off with a hard run at the track on drag radials. So, would you think if I kept them nicely greased, I could avoid destroying another set with my setup?

If you're going to treat it like a race car, maintain it like a race car. A car that sits needs maintained as much as a car that is daily driven.
