Rebuilding Tired T-5 Transmission For More Torque/HP

Rebuilding my tired T5 so it can withstand the new 347 I'll be installing - approximately 450 - 500 hp. Was looking at G-Force and Astro Performance kits. They both have awesome kits, although I don't think the G-Force kit is in the budget ($1295 for 600 rwhp and 500 ft/lbs torque), although it seems to be the best/strongest T5 kit available. Was looking at a smaller kit (450hp) from Astro Performance since this is a street application and won't be seeing much track time. Does anyone have any experience with Astro Perf or G-Force? Not seeing much of anything out here as far as feedback on the quality.

There was someone on here who just sold a G-Force transmission because it was too noisy. They use straight cut gears to make up for the strength in a smaller size, which leads to a lot of gear whine. You're probably better off tracking down an old TKO transmission.

Not at all worried about the noise. The car will be mega noisy inside already with slp loudmouth's on it. I didn't want to go with a different transmission because there would not need to be any changes to anything with a T5. Where a tko will probably need some mods to make it work. Or am I wrong? Is a tko a direct replacement?

There are a few minor mods you need to put in a TKO. If you are not worried about the noise, the G-Force kit is actually stronger than a TKO.
