why is american muscle always out of stock on wheels?

seems like it takes them forever to get some back in stock. I really want to order from them because of the free mounting and balancing plus they have the 315 35 17 sumitomo's at the best price. I want the black bullit wheels but they seem to never have the 10.5's in stock, just the 17x9's

The shipping companies run their ships from Asia slower since the recession came on and charge priority rates for containers. Seriously. I see supply chain disruptions like that a lot.

I've yet to hear anything bad about the company.

I got my Nittos, tuner, shocks and fuel filter all the day after i ordered them. I've yet have a bad experience with AM.

I would say you are asking for 1 of the (probly) most popular rims they have atm, hard to keep em in stock i would imagine?

all of those are out of stock! Is that not kind of rediculous? If your gonna be that out of stock why even sell wheels? If they don't get some soon my money will go to cj's.

Im not sure how big their warehouse is? But keeping alot of rims in stock would take up alot of space, specially with all the other products they do have.

i tried to get black 03-04 cobra replica's SOOOO hard then finally gave up and bought whatever i could find in stock. the only black wheels in 17/18 by 10.5 and 9 were the black bullitt's i have now. i found them at Mustang Parts, Chevy Truck Parts & Dodge Challenger Parts at Latemodel Restoration Supply and the tires/wheel package was a few bucks cheaper then AM even with the discount. i ended up with 17x10.5 and 17x9 deep dish bullitts with 315's sumitomo's in rear and 275 sumitomo's in the front... mounted,balanced, with new lug nuts, shipped for $994 i considered that a steal

I read somewhere on another forum, that there rep said they should be restocking all the wheels mid/end may. Hang in there, dealing with them is awesome.

Thanks for the support, guys! To address the op's question, we're out of stock on a lot of our wheels because there's been a very high demand for them, and our manufacturer has pushed our eta back a few times because of circumstances beyond their control.

Believe me when I say, we are very much aware of the number of wheels that are currently out of stock, and we are anxious to get as many as possible back into stock as quickly as possible. We're expecting most wheels to be back in stock between late May and late June, but those dates may change. Unfortunately, we won't know if those dates change until we're closer to them. We're doing everything we can to expedite the shipping, and we're keeping folks up to date on eta's.

Thanks for clearing that up amstanger, I am not trying to down you guys in any way at all, I know your a great company. I was just curious as to what was up. Looks as though it wlil be late May before I order anyways...so if ya got the black bullitts by then I will place my order. thanks again.
