I tried that. It was more hassle than it was worth. Had to get a new clutch lever because it was screwed up and the retainer springs were ruined. To top it off they broke a bolt that holds the pressure plate on and just left it. I also replaced the pivot ball while I was in there

Few of the cooler cars at the BE show today other then the usual stuff thats always there.

John It was good talking to you today. Keep in touch we'll head down to epping sometime on test and tune saturday.

Good seeing you too Travis. The show was great, good turnout & good weather.
That rat-rod belongs to a friend of mine who does awesome custom exhaust work in Gorham. He's got a really clean 69ish big block Chevelle also.

Got home from B.E., cut the lawn & then went for a long cruise with the wife. Good day overall.....

I stayed until about 1:30 then decided that I had enough sun for one day so I took off plus cars were starting to leave by then, quite a few had cleared out in that lot we were in. Didn't stick around to see who won b/c I pretty much knew who would. I dont have enough shiny bling under the hood to win anything even though I have one of the more unique cars there and would kick 98% of their ass's at the track for what was there haha.

I hear you on the voting. I dont even register any more. Unless you belong to one of the clubs you haven't got a chance of winning at most of these local events. Very political.
Your car looked great, and there were deifinately some other cars worth looking at.

Yours looked great as well, need to get that tune issue straightened out and have that thing rip to 6,500 RPM's to see what it can do on the track/dyno. I plan on going down to Epping the 29th if thats anything you would like to go down for let me know, weather pending of course but there is always sunday too.

BTW as far as the pics I took the one of the General Lee b/c it had a punched out 505 big block in it.

That's the day I'm headed back to Concord to "finish" the tune with the stock pcm. Really looking forward to it.
I saw that Charger, there were two done up like that but that was def. the nicer.
Did you see the white '67 Hemi 4 speed? Unbelievable.....Gotta be worth 6 figures.
Also a '68 GT500KR, and the guy drives it pretty regularly. Plate says "BULLIT"
As for NED, I need to do the battery kill switch before I go back now, they have warned me. I'm not sure how my motivation level will be......

Got back saturday from Arizona. Thats why you didn't see me at the show. Vacation was great. Put 1740+ miles on a 2010 V6 vert stang. Fun place to visit and a pretty good car. Will try to post pics later. Here is one in Monument Valley. Yeah did a little off roading. THe decent and climb out of the area was the worst part. Only hit one rock on the way out. :)

Sorry haven't been on here much. THe computer had a stupid virus that looks like an Antivirus program. Plus I've been real busy.
We went to Arizona because its just some place my wife and I wanted to go visit. Its a big state and its very dry. The last day we were there was the first day Phoenix hit 100*. That was hot but at least its dry and you don't have sweat pouring down your face.
Went to Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Winslow(old armpit, used in a song by the Eagles), the Painted Desert, Meteor Crater, Petrified Forest, Canyon de Chelley, around the Navajo Nation, Monument valley, Hoover Dam then to Vegas because it was only 30 miles from Hoover dam. Lots to see. Saw a tranny in Vegas and Phoenix, now that was weird. Saw some live and dead Elk. Saw a dead Javelina, they look like pigs but they aren't pigs. Saw a couple of Antelope.
The speed limits on a lot of the roads are 65mph, and that is on single lane each direction undivided highway. Some of the divided highways the limit was 75. Got the stang up to 90-95 for a little while in the desert. We both liked the car but hated the headrests. The first day we had the car I yanked the headrests out and threw them in the trunk. The headrest shove your head forward in a uncomfortable position. The car handled the roads pretty good. Wished it was the 2011 with the more powerful V6 but this engine wasn't bad as far as power goes. Having a convertable was nice.
The first night in Phoenix it was still very warm outside at 9 o'clock but comfortable to sit outside on the balcony. The next morning it was 80 but 8 am. As you head up in elevation it would get cooler and more comfortable.
The land went anywhere from 1-2000 feet up to over 8000 feet in elevation. At 8000 feet we were looking up at some huge mountain peaks(those were a lot higher than 8000') outside Flagstaff that still had snow on them.
Great trip, glad we went and would recommend it to others. Just fun going somewhere completely different from where you live or are used to.
Almost forgot to mention that yes I did some power braking before I returned the car. Could have used a bit more power for that.

normally you could see a long ways but one day it was windy and created a sand storm. My wife took the pic with her phone. This was the worst spot. It was like driving through fog.
