Short story, guy says he has a mustang for me, a "North American" with a longer body or something wacky like that. It's $1500 and in ok shape, I will probably pick it up anyway as I need a new project.

This guy swears up and down it's a North American, and that there is something fundamentally different about the car. It's not a gt, cs, or anything else. Any ideas or is he just confused?

There is a guy up here in a MN that has a 65 Mustang station wagon. It is one of a few concept cars built by ford but never released for production. He has all the documentation to prove its real so who knows what else might show up. I would go in with my eyes wide open though because it sounds like a back yard modified or some custom from the 60s that may have nothing to do with ford. There was a company in the 60's that streched some mustangs to make limo's out of them

well, talked to him a little longer today and it's supposed to have more rear seat legroom. Normally I would dismiss the "it's a special case" but he's adamant it's a different model. Other than one reference in the floorpan catalog listed above, I have found no other info on the car. Either way I'm buying it.

Get pics- we'd love to see what he's talking about. There's all sorts of stuff out there, including Falcons.
