While my car was down I decided to swap intakes. It ended up costing me quite a bit since none of my bullit parts would carry over.

Only thing I wish is that he had painted the flames smaller.

The upper is from 6061.com.

Once I install the new intake I am gonna sell the bullit. I'm pretty sure if I am going to need a gt alternator but not positive. The bullit wil be complete with throttle cable, new in package cruise control cable, aeromotive fuel rails accufab single blade, anderson powerpipe, and 30lb injectors.

Someone bought it recently for $1000 but when payment was suppose to be made he disappeared, lol.

Patrick at PSI tunes my car though I've been wanting to buy the software and start doing it myself.

I did think I would have to part out the bullitt setup due to that being a nice chunk of change for someone to spend but had several interested. When I relist it I'll just keep lowering the price until it sells. It would be a good addition to someone with a mild-moderate setup.

Besides Nightfire, not everyone likes to get their ass handed to them by an suv. Some people actually want to get their cars out of the 14s.

It does add up. I exploded my first bullitt intake and bought my current one from Tommie Vaughn Ford, it was over a grand for just the intake. Then I had the bar at the throttle body grinded out as well as paid to have it painted.

The edelbrock setup was suppose to match the color of my car with the flames being the darker silver. I think he didn't hear me completely and thought I wanted black and silver. I told him as a reminder that the darker silver was 50/50, black and silver. Guess he only heard the last part, lol.

Exactly. I spent 6-7 years trying to get my hands on all the pieces to make it work for under $1000. I even went as far as trying to get one out of central Mexico. I worked with Tommie Vaughn back in 2003 on my headswap car, and I still could not get them to come down much off the listed price. It is a great addition to FI cars.

Hope you get your car up and running. I responded to you at LS1tech.com about this Friday night, but my car will not be tuned so I won't be running either. What about next Friday?

Next friday is doable, I can get to the track around 6:30.
