In 2000 I replaced the 2 row radiator on my 66 coupe with a 4 row unit that I purchased from the Pony Car Store. The unit was built by Radtec and has worked flawlessly for 10 years. Last Saturday my fan clutch broke and it was so close to the Rad it broke 5 lines and scratched 3 more. Since its 10 years old and I only have a 289 hipo with A/C with a hydraulic version of the hipo cam I think that 4 rows won’t be needed. I was looking at Summit Racing and they have this 3 row for 170.00+ ship:(See below)

Brand Proliance Ready Rad
Manufacturer's Part Number 433259
Part Type Radiators
Product Line Proliance Ready-Rad Radiators
Summit Racing Part Number PLI-433259

It just so happen that is the same brand and model sold by Advance Auto Parts locally here for $152.00 (Tax Incl) see below:

I have never used one of these in any one of my cars and it will save me $65.00 dollars cuz shipping and handling to my place from summit it's about $60.00 bucks. The sales rep @ summit said that they had excellent feedback on them on fitting and performance. I need some feedback if any one here has used or installed one of these. Thanks in advance!

I think the 20" is well worth the effort. I have had cooling issues with every 16" stock size core rad I have bought. I have a three row aluminum now, and overheats at idle in summer, but cools too good in winter, and cant get any inside heat!!!

I would totally buy that 170 radiator from summit. I bought 2 alluminum radiators and am not the happiest of people. For some reason they dont like standard radiator caps. The only perk is they are super light. Had I know summit had that I would have gotten it.Their shipping is supper fast.

I bought a direct fit for my 72 from summit but it isn't in the car yet because the engine is at the speed shop. But i heard good things about them from people around my area who used them. When you compare the price to a {Be Cool} rad it's easy to be sold on them.

we bought one for our 69' camaro project. Haven't had the thing out on the road yet, but even sitting around in the shop running it cools down damn fast! the one that was purchased by us included the aluminum shroud, radiator and fan kit. I think it was somewhere in the ~$200 range. Cools a monster of a 350 with just the rad. fan fine.(ie, we're not blowing air at the rad with another fan) Fits nice, just modified the brackets a bit to help it fit and no problems yet!.

my rad on the stang is going to pot, and im DEFINATELY considering getting a summit brand alluminum rad.
