wow... haven't posted here in ages since I sold my single turbo 02 GT and bought a gas guzzling escalade. Gas was so bad on the escalade that I turned it into a weekend cruiser and bought a honda accord for work since I commute 70 miles round trip each day with 60 of those miles being interstate.

Now the accord has 160k miles on it so I guess its time to get something else before major problems start occurring and I want another mustang to DD back and forth to work in (and have a little fun on the weekends) Definitely wont be going all out like I did my last one, but I'm looking to get a 99-00 GT under $7500 with under 125k miles.

That seem like a doable price/year/mileage range to you guys?

Thats perfect. I bought my 00 GT for 6500 (after dealer fees :nonono:) with 105k miles and it was perfect. I bet for 7500 you can find something a bit better, possibly an 02-04. New edges for the win! :D:D

May have found one. 1999 Black GT coupe, loaded black leather interior, 5 speed with 99k miles for $4900..nothing wrong with in according to the guy with everything working flawless on it and being in excellent condition ....Its about 2-3 hours from my parents house in Louisiana, and my parents house is about 6 hours from here in Alabama, so I may try to take a trip down there this weekend...I havent seen a deal this cheap since I've been looking.

Some people think because its got a exhaust, CAI on it and set of gears this raises the value of it by 2-3 grand.

you should have no trouble finding a nice new edge that fits your description.

i wouldnt worry so much about the "high" mileage on your accord tho. 160k on a honda is nothing provided it has had the major routine maintence completed (timing belt/water pump replacement FTW!)

good luck.. i picked up my wifes 04 gt a few mo's ago. it had a slp cat back and good rims with 315's on the rear. it had 61,000 miles and was super clean.
i got it for 11k at a dealer.
cars cost a little more here in new mexico but i still i feel i could have got it a little cheaper.

you should have no problem

We'll see. Car was a no go. Called again today and had a check list of questions to go through everyone of them was the response I wanted to hear until I got to does it use any oil. There was a brief 3-4 second pause and said yeah a little. Out...

Fiveoh
The accords a great car and runs flawlessly But has zero power (4cyl) and I want something to have a little fun in. I miss my old 02GT

agreed!

i miss my 94 accord. it was a excellent daily. reliability and comfort couldnt be better for the money spent. however, the power just isnt there :p

Looked at a car today. Everything appeared fine other than this light. I don't recall ever seeing this light on my 2002. Anyone know what it is?

its a nice car but I need something dependable. Remeber this will be replacing my current daily driver. Not saying yours isnt dependable but I've already been down that road with my last car....the more power they make, the more likely I'm going to tear them up :rlaugh:

I believe I've seen that car in the birmingham area before though....
