Or just read the hotmail address in the artists copyright section

Looks amazing and I would DIE to see the car completed just like that.

okay I have started doing some work removed the interior to make way for the 02 interior. Used the air box from the 02.

Also im going to get the motor out b/c i have to weld the piece of the firewall in for the steering shaft bearing.

dont know what im going to do for the motor yet im all over the place, im going to get the interior done and all the wiring then I see what direction ill go in.

To help a little here is some things I ran into on my dash swap.
For the steering shaft, you can use the one fromt he donor car, but you need to change the steering rack to a 94+. I have the 2001 rack in my 93, so everything from the steering wheel to the rack is 2001 GT.

For the lower dash mount(below the radio) you can use the stock fox mount. Just cut it to fit inside the lower braces. then mock up the dash using the console to make sure you have the right angle and tack weld it. pull the dash and finish weld it. makes it VERY solid.

For wiring the gauges.
Use your factory harness. The colors are the same until 95. all you have to do is splice in the connectors. I used a 95GT cluster with my 93 harness. by just going wire by wire, i have everything working. for the hvac wiring, you can repin some connectors, but they are all the same from the fox to the newer cars. mine just plugged in and worked. I think I had to lengthen the heavy blue wire that went to the blower motor.

For the engine stuff. Make it all work with the fox wires. Then all you are going to have to do change the engine harness and add a few wires and your golden.

I hope some of this helps.

thanks mr. Chrome Rust.

I will get a 95 gt cluster, b/c right now all i have is the 02 V6 cluster that came with the dash. did you have to cut into the support tube on the dash to get it to fit?

I did not have to cut the support tube at all. I removed ALL of the fox dash structure from the car. The steering column bolts to the dash, not the A frame looking thing the fox column bolts too... I sent you my number... Give me a shout. I can explain it alot better over the phone. I hate typing. Have over 19 years in IT... I have paid my dues when it comes to typing

well i wrested with this dash for the back half of the day what a pain but most of the triming is done i was able to get it fabed up, but i feel like im about 1" short of where i should be. the air box lining up to the dash is what tells me that . I did have to do some cutting to some of the supports on the drivers side to make everything fit. You guys that have done this before tell me what is looking good and whats not looking so good.

Oh and i must add chorme rust gave me his number and spoke with me for a while what a nice guy and thanks for the help. I really appriciate it :nice:

The dash is sitting way to far back. Here are a few mock up pics I found, the quality sucks, but I hope you can get the idea. Where my dash sits, the defrost vents are not there. they would hit the firewall. I know you can use them, but I didn't forsee this car in the snow. The A/C works, so it dries out the air pretty well. Trim what you can to get the sides/edge of the dash to sit flush with the door molding. When you put your kickpanels back in it will hide alot of that. I will try to remember to snap a few pics of my swap in the morning to show where it all sits. I am 6'5" tall and with everything where I have it, it feels just like a 94+ car. from seat distance to the wheel placement.

Also pleasure talking to you eairler today!!

im going to have to cut the pass mount off and weld it to the heat box mounting boss, It will probably be more stable there anyway. The driver side i can mount on the bent down portiong below the window
