So I first went to the Mach area and it was all but dead (3 posts) and I know people who would know the answer frequent on here. I have seen that they have different gauge clusters for a manual and auto but other than the front is there any internal differences? From what I can see the redlines are slightly different as the manual was around 6500 and the auto was near or 7K. other than this anything different and what do you guys think about putting 1 of these in a GT?

IDK about the internal differences, but the 01 Bullitt also came with the retro gauges, & since it's basically a GT, it should be a direct swap with your car...

you just change the 'front', not the whole cluster...there is no point in swapping the whole cluster, unless your existing one is broken

I'm pretty sure the 5-speed Mach had a 6800 red line and 5800 on the autos, I'm not sure about the auto though, it may be a few hundred higher...

Also, when I was looking for mine a couple years ago the Mach 1's clusters were far easier to find than the Bullitt ones...Bullitt parts in general are scarcer than hen's teeth.

I have those gauges in my GT.

Here is a link to another forum with a sticky on how to do this.. After doing some looking I found it. Maybe it should be a sticky here too? :nice:

How-to: Install Bullit guages in a 99-04 GT - Lone Star Stangs | The Texas Mustang Club

This is what I did when I install my Bullitt gauges in my GT. Car started right up and the odemeter was reading right. I had to do some fine tuning on some of the gauges to get them read like my old GT cluster. This is very easy to do. The hardest thing is finding the cluster. It took my a yr to find one. Pearl.
