Hey guys So i picked up pi heads and an intake off an 04 For My 96 Gt. My delema is a cam. i wanted to go with comp cams but was told "your pistons need to be fly cut if not they will hit stock piston so look into those things before install". The car is driven about 5 months a year during the summer . I am looking for a streetable cam i want performance and drivability. I was looking at comp cams Stage II Xtreme Energy XE270AH Camshafts . is this true for the fly cut?
i was gonna replace the springs with COMP Cams 26113-16 - Valve Springs
Im new to this and you guys have really helped me out before :nice: with my suspension and why I went with the pi swap :D
Am i on the right track ?
This is a list of what i have already picked up and waiting in the garage

Comps 270's were the big hit many years back. Most cars ending up having PTV issues. I'd look in to the CMS and another of other cams. Do your research, search this board and others. I'd ask the guys at Home Page if it were me. Bill and the group that hangs out over there know their stuff.

Let us know how the install goes. I'm looking at those same cams (comp 262). Thanks. Pearl02.
