This is what happens when inconsiderate people who drink haterade all day long and suck at life let a shopping cart smack your car and leave the scene. To make it worse I was parked ALL THE WAY out in the last spot. I spoke to the manager of the store, security cameras picked up nothing.

The dent is rather large, and on the crease above the rear wheel. Instead of going to joe blow bodyshop, I'm taking it to an excellent/make it look like it never happened place that I have used in the past. The only bad thing is they can't squeeze me in until 3 weeks from now.

More than the damage, it really just pisses me off that people are this lazy, inconsiderate, and just careless. About 2 years ago something similar happened with my SUV door, it looked like someone purposely opened their door on it with EXTRA force, a HUGE dent in the crease. Of course, no note, just left the scene.

I'm thankful cause at least I have the cash to fix it, but it could have been used on mods or something else. :bs:

A pic for your viewing pleasure. I thought about using my ins to file a comprehensive claim as my deduct is only $250. Not sure if the savings would be worth the long term effects on my policy though?

Man that sucks. I feel your pain. Last year someone left a shopping cart right next to the passenger door of my daily driver (08 XTerra) I went to pull out of the space and the cart put a 5 foot long scratch down the passenger side. I was pissed. I never saw the cart and it was right up against the car. I heard it scrape and then it was too late.

That sucks...and I feel your pain...but it could be worse. I had a guy rearend me a few weeks ago while I was stopped at a railroad track; $10K of damage to a 6 month old 2010 GT with 5K miles on it. The only upside is that it wasn't my fault so the other guys insurance will pay for it.

That doesn't look like an inconsiderate bump where someone just let a cart go, that looks more like an a-hole got some speed going on the cart before he let it go towards "the guy that had to park in the last spot. I'll show him."

People can really suck sometime.

Yup, people are haters. Dude smacked my car on purpose then climbed into his bombed out 1990's Astro van with a **** eating grin on his face. Whatever... :loser:

My wife hates this, but I always comment to the ladies in the parking lot when I see them leave carts in the middle of the parking lot. They are generally 200-300 pound ladies that drive around the parking lot for 10-20 minutes looking for a place really close to the entrance. Little do they know, they would have been out of the store with their 100 pounds of groceries by the time they found the "prime" parking space and maybe even burnt a calorie or two. Anyways... backto the topic, I mention to them that it might hit someones cars.. most of them blow me off, but I've had some (*&^'s actually tell me to mind my own business. That's when I really dig into them. It's such a simple thing to put the damn cart back where it belongs.

I used to live in Germany...they did it right there. You put a coin in the cart when you got it out, and got your coin back when you replaced the cart to its proper location.

I feel your frustration. About 2 weeks ago, I bought my wife a new CR-V. A couple days later at the gas station I'm filling up with my wife in driver seat and daughter in back. Some DB tries to squeeze past us and clips the RR panel shaking the whole car and continues to drive away. I used my man voice and ordered him back. He was a tourist from China who had $600.00 cash on him. Sorry your culprit got away.
