Is it just me, or is anyone else disappointed in the Fox 500 project?

Pics?

I stopped subscribing to those rags when someone wrote in asking about putting Sn95 cobra brakes on their fox and the writer told them not to use junkyard parts and recommended a $3000 brake kit from a vendor in the catalog.

haha, i stopped paying for it when it stopped being 5.0 and became S197 and fast fords. i think i stopped paying 2 years ago and to this day i still get one every month... straight into the trash after i take a look at the BOTM lol

i looked their site for a bit and came across 2 different articles on it. neither of them showed the finished product. also came across another project that got my attention was a "project silver state" or something like that. i'm going to try and build my car for that same purpose and was curious how it came out. but again, didn't come across the finished project article. do they ever actually FINISH something????

Their cars are probably like mine and alot of others on the site, they are a continuous project as money allows, hell I have a 86 4 cyl conversion that has been a project since 07, if only money were plentiful !

The wheel gap is probably because there is no interior yet. My 4VMod-Fox project was pretty high stil even tho the motor/trans was in. It came down in the front and the back when I intalled just the gas tank and added a full 15 gallons of fuel. It then came down even more with carpet, seats, trim panels, speakers.....it really really adds up.

Unless the interior contains a couple hundred pounds of lead, it will not fix that rear wheel gap! A simple spring swap with actual Mustang lowering springs for the 4x4 Explorer springs they used will do the trick!!

I agree with the painted trim and the wheels looking like crap, but I like where it sits in the rear. Mine isnt that high but its about stock with the front lowered, its gives it some rake which i think looks baddass. I would take a that stance over dragging ass anyday!
