I searched but couldn't find what I was looking for.....
I'm building a 308 with Edelbrock Heads, 1.9 intake aluminum, Comp cams 1.6 gold rockers and pushrods, Edelbrock 3722 cam, .499 lift both sides, edelbrock performer RPM intake, dual plane, long tube headers 1 5/8", full MSD ignition, with 6al,. this is going in a 93 gt, which has had every piece of ac/ heater removed, including vents and box under dash, several pounds of efi harness removed, no air bag, no backseat, 'glass hood, fr500 18" wheels, battery in back. I can't guess the weight it would have. It has 3.73's, T-5, no spare tire.
Now that youhave car info, what kind of carb can I use?? some tell me that since it's a lightweight foxbody, I should go dual feed carb, around 600-650. Others say vacuum secondaries are what I need since the car will only see street driving and occasional freeway blasts. I will not take it to the track anymore so..... what do you think? I do want electric choke. For DP, I was looking at Quick fuel 650, for vacuum, holley 80457s. Please help! Thanks
