I searched but couldn't find what I was looking for.....
I'm building a 308 with Edelbrock Heads, 1.9 intake aluminum, Comp cams 1.6 gold rockers and pushrods, Edelbrock 3722 cam, .499 lift both sides, edelbrock performer RPM intake, dual plane, long tube headers 1 5/8", full MSD ignition, with 6al,. this is going in a 93 gt, which has had every piece of ac/ heater removed, including vents and box under dash, several pounds of efi harness removed, no air bag, no backseat, 'glass hood, fr500 18" wheels, battery in back. I can't guess the weight it would have. It has 3.73's, T-5, no spare tire.
Now that youhave car info, what kind of carb can I use?? some tell me that since it's a lightweight foxbody, I should go dual feed carb, around 600-650. Others say vacuum secondaries are what I need since the car will only see street driving and occasional freeway blasts. I will not take it to the track anymore so..... what do you think? I do want electric choke. For DP, I was looking at Quick fuel 650, for vacuum, holley 80457s. Please help! Thanks:nice:

I suggest a standard Holley 750dp. Depends if you know how to tune.
I would not use anything smaller than a 650.
Again, the choke horn is up to you... I don't use one.

When you have the carb installed and running, check idle vacuum before going further... if you don't have the vacuum the camshaft says you should have, you're going to have a tough time dialing it in.
