I am looking at his car. Private seller. 2004 GT , 5 speed, 51k miles, leather seats, Mach1 sound system, leather is like new, car is super clean. Only spot if a small area of cracked paint on left top of rear bumper cover. Also cracked windshield, but says insurance will take care of that. I am not a fan of yellow, but this car grabs me.

Car is from Texas, never seen winter.

Guy is asking $11k I may offer him $10.5. would that be a decent buy? Thanks for yall input

Have you driven it?

Have the windshield fixed before buying it, IMHO. No reason it is still damaged if "insurance" will really fix it.

Whether it is worth it is up to you. Can be a real PITA to find a clean 5-speed, and the price seems reasonable. Looks pretty good, too, even if I might prefer a different color given a choice.

They said they will take care of windshield before i buy, it is under insurance. Can't drive it as the plates are expired. But i can drive it around the large parking area, which i will do if i get serious.

On color; yes i want a red or black, but may not find one this clean.

11k is kinda steep for just a GT. If I were you I would save up another few grand and go for the Mach 1.

This ^

Mileage is good for it but I wouldn't pay more than 9K for that car. It's 7 yrs old already and if the bumper needs some work thats more $$. Looks like the only thing not stock might be the exhaust from the size of the tip but I could be wrong. I bought mine for 8K last year and it was an '02 with 48K on it and mods.

Really depends how clean it is. I paid $10,500 for a 2003 GT last year with 28,000 miles, basic Mods, and near perfect paint. Was very hard to find one that wasn't abused or raced. That is why I prefer a private owner because you can usually tell. At a dealer you never know what you are getting. I would offer around $10,000 or less. I regret not buying a Mach 1, but they are more expensive. Good luck!
