02 mustang lowering project

Think of progressive springs as adaptive. How they perform is based on load, and their spring rates differ accordingly.

The BBK springs are probably fine. A lot of people run the FRPP C-springs, but it seems they lower the front more than the rear, giving the car a rake.

those are nice springs..had them on my fox when i had it..good cornering springs

The progressive rate lowering kits are specifically designed to improve handling characteristics while still offering a comfortable ride. These springs will lower your mustang approximately 1.25".

The specific rate lowering spring kits were engineered for optimum handling. These springs are rated at approx 650lb front and 250lb in the rear, they will lower your Mustang approximately 1.5" while giving you a slightly firmer ride quality they will give you the handling you need for spirited road and track use.

if you're worried about rubbing issues, i have 315's as well running sportlines and no rubbing issues at all..hope that info helps

my old h was about an inch or so off the ground, then when i swapped to my pro chamber it was the came way...i ended up welding hangers on it and was able to tuck it up higher...you should be able to find a muffler shop that will do the same for like $30 or something like that...good luck :nice:

I like the C's

I have a 2000 GT with Eibach Pro Kit and Illuminas. I had a 97 GT with the Ford Racing C's and for the street I like them better. Actually they do sit lower in the front but right in the instructions it says that if you want to even it out they show where to cut the rears. The C's actually road better with only Monroe Sensa Tracs. Even though they are a Linear High Rate 650 front and 300-450 rears (same as the Eibachs rears) you would think they would be harsher but they were not. I do like the Illuminas for their adjustability. Fun!
