Well, I've been wanting to do it for my last 3 Mustangs, and finally I had one that was ready for it and also begging for it with the retro factory look. Took the car to JC Graphix in Vacaville CA and they did a hell of a job. The stripes were purchased on Ebay from AutoGraphics2go and according to the installers, are top quality vinyl. I am so stoked with how it came out! These are a few shotty camera phone pics, Saturday I will take her up to the lagoon and snap some good pics. Enjoy!

Yeah, droid camera FTL in the sun...going to napa tomorrow, will take some nice ones with a real camera. The stripes are actually hard to pick out on the grey, kinda stealthy which I like, no as in your face as on a red car.

No comments? I was hoping for some feedback from the community. I am really happy with the way the car is starting to look, very clean and classy with an old school feel. Slowly but surely I am building my dream car.

It's nice, it's a fairly simple install, but it is a magnet for curbs and inclines. Even with the stock '10 suspension on it, I have scraped it up alot. On the top side, a little sand paper and flat black paint, and it looks good as new. I would not do as others have and paint it though.

I find it weird that the s197 community isn't very active...

seems to be very active in places. I like this forum OK. I stop in once in a while, seems to be some good people here. I usually head for S197forum first, lots of action. Some of it a little raunchy, but I don't jump into any of those threads. I belong to the blackmustangclub and their forum, but that place is a ghost town lately. Allford and Mustangforums are OK too. And the Silver Mustang thing, good people over there. Maybe check out some other places ? Could be some people more interested in what you're into. Drag racing, autocrossing, HPDE days.
