Since I already posted with an issue and got great help I think it's only fair I introduce myself
I've owned many Stangs over the years.
Currently I own a '97 gt which has really not a lot done to it since it's my dd. Car has about 184k on it. auto. lowering springs with a basic cold air intake. nothing really else done to it. I do have a PI engine with about 70k on it to swap in the car but haven't gotten around to it yet.
Next is the newest addition.
'90 hatchback.
It's got a .58 5th gear set in it , bbk headers , flowmaster mufflers , 4:10 gears , Nitto 555r's on the back , edle performer intake , some head porting on stock heads , Fcam , elec cooling fan , bbk t/b and fuel pressure regulator , 24'lb injectors with a larger MAF , UPR upper and lower control arms , Dry NOS setup and a line loc , 5 1/2 rise cowl hood , I know there's other stuff I'm forgetting.
and the final one in the stable right now I've had the longest and done the most work to.
my '65 coupe. Has to be one of a kind. you either love it or hate it.
short list of what's done.
S&W rollcage , a lot of the body seams smoothed over , cowl smoothed over , custom "tear drop" hood I made and own the mold to make as many as I want , built 4 speed toploader with a full hydrolic clutch conversion , full lenght headers into side pipes , 306 engine with flat top pistons , eagle rods , basic cam (for now) , performer intake , Barry Grant Demon carb , extra cap radiator with elec cooling fan , 3:55 gears , I lowered the drivers seat to fit in better with my helmet on , front fender flares I own the mold to make more of , custom rear fender flares to fit the 295 tires on the back , american racing Tourque Thrust wheels , front disc brake conversion from SSBC , there's a lot more done to it than that I just can't think of anymore offhand. Everything on the car was done either only by myself or with the help of maybe 3 or 4 friends at the most over the 16+ years I've owned the car. we did the bodywork , paint..engine..etc. everything I've had out of.. of apart on the car
