it's going to be a rotating tank of a motor. the tuners will add 1000 to the redline no problem and make HUGE "tune only" top end hp numbers. this will be the equivalent of what the j coletti terminator motor meant to boost heads, only this time for the na guys

Also, not sure about all the 8k/8.5k rumors; Fordvehicles.com says " . . . up to 7500 rpm".

All of the new 5.0L TiVCT engines got a forged crank. The new Boss engine also got forged rods and pistons in addition.

The new Boss engine was probably certified up to 7,500RPM yes, but that doesn't mean that's all it'll take, nor does it mean that tuners won't be surpassing those levels in the quest for more horsepower.
