when i got the trans out the cylinder was leaking brake fluid thats why i changed it but it still does not let me put it inot gear is it becouse i did not bled it right ?

or is there any thin else it could be no reverse or first or second i cant put it in any gear with the engine running.

after reading anthony05gt post i will try that to bled it like he said.

I would like to ask some questions before jumping into conclusion

1- Do you hear any kind of grinding once trying to put it into gear ?
2- Do you find problems when shifting after starting the car in first gear ?
3- when was the last time you've changed you gear fluid ?
4- Have you checked your clutch ?
5- Have you checked your housing and wiring ?

1 no grinding when in gear but if i start it in gear i cant change gears becouse i cant get it back into gears with out it grinding and even then it is just way to hard like i dont have the pedal in.

2 yes if i start in 1st or 2st i cant realy change gears

3 never change trans fluid but it has 35k miles.

4 the clutch was just changed i did not have the moneys for the slave cylinder at the time so a month or 2 later this started

5 i pulled the trans and did not see any thing wrong with any of the wiring or hoses and changed the slave cylinder.

when i got the trans out the slave cylinder did show that it was leaking fluid

im having the same problem now as before changing the slave cylinder.

o the clutch is just a stock ram i have no power adders just a air intake and bama powergram then 410 gears.

thanks for any help it was been about 2 3 months of this i realy want my car back.

Dude...if im not mistaking i think your facing the usual TR 3650 problem...bad synchronizers...but before doing anything try the following:

- Change your gear fluid..." Dont think its going to help much but it won't hurt to try"
- check the clutch and the clutch pedal again.

I really dont want to tell you that you need to rebuild your transmission...but I've faced the same problem and ended up buying a new TR3650...double check the above and let us know what happens

when it started going out it was just a little hard to get in gear acouple of days later a little harder then acouple of days later even harder all of this about a month after changing the clutch like i said im thinking it was the leaking slave cylinder and at this point hopping it still has air in the line i just need to get a chance to go over to the car this weekend thanks for any coments.

a little more seat time

well while i was at my parents place before we had to go do some running around i had a chance to hook up a battery charger and pump the clutch pedal for a little bit i can now get it into 3rd not reverse 1st or second with the engine running i can get it into any gear with the engine off so i think sunday i will take the time to go over there just for the mustang and maybe that will be all i need to get the last of the air out of the line.

it was air in the clutch line i got a chance to mess with it this evening and i can get it into gear and drive it around the block.
im going to recheck bolts this weekend before drive home.
