8.8 AxleHousing Straightening

So does anyone know any place in new jersey that Straightens
Axle Housings. Is it really that important? what kind of cost? welding the tubes

yeah but thanks, Im wondering if its even really important I mean I can just build it with 31 spline axles. I dont know

well if its not bent too much it will be ok, but if its noticeable with the naked eye then its probably too much.

9in's rob alot of power! alot more then a 8.8, and built 8.8's can handle over 1000 rwhp......

9' dont rob that much power. and they are still indestructable. abs isn't anything to me anyway. i dont trust abs to be honest.

I've seen plenty of broken 9" rear ends in fact one in a 1000RWHP Shelby snapped the end off the pinion running on DRs plus they are heavy. A properly built 8.8 will handle plenty of power but if you are planning on seeing over 1000RWHP I'd probably look closer to the 9". The advantage of the 9" is the ease of changing gears in them.
