Here is a picture of my Dad's 68 Convert. All the fiberglass came from Mustang Depot.

Other than changing the look of the car a correctly made spoiler will help keep the front end from rising as air gets under the car at speed. From what I've read and depending on the design/wt. of the car you can start feeling the pull down on the front and lesser 'hunting' at speeds above 70-80mph. I don't think the plastic one above will withstand the wind force to pull the nose down and would be for apperance only and as mentioned needs to look right on the car. I'm guessing the fiberglass one would hold up to wind force but are easy to crack I would imagine, they each have their pros/cons.

I plan to make my own eventually to withstand wind force but not crack on indention as fiberglass woud.

metal front spoiler

I had one of the MU spoilers years back and was not happy with it.
Eventually made my own aluminum version. A fair amount of work, but is has lasted many years.
I ran Silver State Challenge a few weeks ago and it held up to 110 mph speeds fo the whole 90 miles. Now modifying it to drop a couple inches and incorprate a splitter. Should help with stability for next race in May.
