Lost my job today...

Well it's looking like I'm now a feeder operator on a printing press at Gentry Printing, LLC! I've been working there the past few days to feel it out. My girlfriend's uncle has been really welcoming, along with the entire staff there, helping me out as needed, showing me all the techniques, etc. I'm going over to the owner's place tonight for a poker night, and plan on talking to him about the job to see if it's actually something he can put me into full time. Pretty awesome past couple days all in all. Thanks guys!

another thought is the railroad , i just retired from bnsf railroad 2 years ago, they are hiring now, so is the up railroad, look them up on line, bnsf.com jobs.

Guess I should update this with some life news.

I've been working for around 3 weeks at that print shop, full time, as a feeder operator on the press. Killer hours, pay is great even at entry level, and the coworkers are awesome. Things are looking just fine.

Very glad to hear things worked out!!!!!!!
It happened to me, when the FU**ING government stepped in and closed the dealership I was working @ over 10 years. Great job now, Parts mananger @ a Kia dealership, (of all things)!! lol
Hell, you even got a raise!!!!
