Yeah I know they wont be everyone's tastes but here are two of my previous cars (and the Cougar I still own with some old wheels) and you might understand....

The first pic is my Cougar back when I was running 14 inch steelies. Blue Cougar running 14s and dog dishes. The last one is my Galaxie on its second set of steelies. I ran 15inch steelies on it first, then I ran some Chrysler 300 17inch steelies that were modified. 17x7 fronts and 17x9 rears. I liked them and even kept them for a while after I sold the car. (eventually sold them to a guy with a Dodge Challenger)

Sooooo with that said... here are some cell pics of my 94 and its new shoes. Ford Crown Victoria P71 cop car wheels. 17x7.5 up front with 245/45 17 BFG G-Force Sports. 17x9 with 275/40 17 BFG G-Force Sports out back.

Yes, they are heavy, no they aren't everyones cup of tea, and yes I will put the P71 center caps on it as soon as I get a set of lugnuts that the caps attach to. (the last pic the cap is just sitting on there).

FWIW, the front wheel weighs as much as an OEM Cobra 17x9. (actually lighter if you factor in the tire as well) The rears... they weigh more but besides that the car doesn't feel as heavy as I expected.

Next step... Cobra brakes and a drop!

Have you considered getting smoked head lights?

How about getting the rear wheels widened a inch or two?

You know, it's not my cup of tea. With a drop and a few more mods to complete the silver/blk look, I think it will look just fine.

I'd rather see those than another pair of black bullits or fr500s. It's hard to be different now adays, good job finding a way you like!

The rears actually were widened 1.5 inches from stock. I didn't really want to go to 10.5s and 315s just because I think it will scream "steal me" in my neighborhood. I already have lowering springs that aren't installed yet just because I live in a condo complex and apparently we aren't allowed to work on our cars here.... even IN the garage. WTF?

I like the stock headlights in there. If anything else I would go with the Cobra style lights up front. I have nothing against black headlights (have them on my Ranger) but I can't find an aftermarket set that I like for our year cars.

Yeah, it was all about being different. I have Bullitts on my Mom's car that I could have taken back and used... but well... everyone has 'em. I used to run Bullitts on my Cougar before I went to American Racing Salt Flat Specials for a more old school look.

I'm really not sure how I feel about those. I love steelies and dog dishes on old musclecars, especially ones that are body color. I'm not sure if that look is working for me on the SN95 though. Some better pics after being lowered and having the center caps put on would help I think.

Oh I agree. It seriously needs to be lowered and when it is, I will have more pics of that too. The center caps will be put on as soon as I get the lugnuts that have the provisions for them and that will be done soon as well.

I mainly have owned old cars, so that I suppose is why I have my love affair with steelies. The only "new" cars I have owned are my Rangers, and the Mustang. (check sig :D)

Oh they were oem Bullitts off of a real Bullitt (not that it makes a difference, I always thought it made it cooler.) My mom has them and the Nitto 555s on her 02 v6 now. Is that a sin? Lol.

I was just making a joke about the black wheels.... 99% of look at my new wheels are always deep dish bullitts..... nice to see someone do something different
