I have 18" bullet..style" rims factory..are they chrome or Aluminum?

Are they the one's that came with the GT Premiums and California Specials? Pretty sure those are the ones you're talking about. If so, they're Polished Aluminum

No prob, I put them on my '05 4.0

Bump, anyone know the original question? Not looking forward to winter rearing it's ugly head and want to take some precautions before it gets too nasty out

I have had mine for 3 1/2 years in Washington and now in Virginia and haven't had any problems out of them from salt. Granted I don't think they used salt up in WA but this will be my 2nd full winter here in VA and I haven't noticed any issues. I just put a good sealant (Adams) on them and try to keep them clean.

They have a slight foginess too them which is why I think they are aluminum polished. If so, do they get damaged by salt too? Thanks.

Ford offered them initially as chromed aluminum. Then they later offered them as polished aluminum, too, so both exist in the 18x8.5" size from the factory.
