I just picked up a 92 LX coupe in Emerald Green, it is 100% stock. I have mapped out what to do with the drivetrain, i'm looking for ideas on what to do to the exterior. Chrome pony's and just lower it with new paint, maybe a Cervini 4 piece body kit with Saleen wing and replica Saleen wheels. I think i'm going to stick with the green, I like the color just looking for ideas, post up pictures if you would.

so a repaint, no wing, GT40 tubular intake and an S trim. How about a 5 lug conversion and a set of charcoal bullits?

If you're going the bullitt route, be sure to do a proper 5-lug conversion...SN95 set up.

I've heard rumors that the bullitts are being over played on Foxes already. It's why I stuck with the Ponies.

221K on the block...get a whole new set up. Even if you have to do a LRS cheap reman and a set of ported irons. While the engine is out, clean up the compartment and polish alum brackets.

Grab a set of 30# and an 80 Maf so that you have room for future mods. 70MM t-bod and EGR will get it done.

Tubular vs explore vs Cobra all are within 2 hp of each other.

Could you tell me more about your engine build? The numbers in your sig is what I'm looking to hit with my car.

Best part about it is that its old, old technology. I built the car ten years ago and added a blower 5 years ago.

300hp Edel package...heads, cam (e), intake, 70mm T-bod and EGR with the motorsport 1.72 RR's. Car ran 12.501 @ 109 with just the edel package .1771 60ft. the 2.95 first gear along with the 3.55 and a 27" slick netted a not so stellar 60ft. She should have been a 12.20 to 12.30 car on nuts. Full weight coupe at 3220. Sway bars were removed for the run. I would have guess 270 ish rwhp back then.

BBK 1_5/8 LT's into power chamber into 2.5 ultraflow Mufflers dumped.

Stock S-trim, made 12.2 lbs with the power pipe at 6G rpms. Power pipe must be the key to making as much boost as it did.

Stock 93 short block.

PMS, 42lb inj, 80mm maf

I haven't had any inclination to take the car back to the track now that it is boosted and tuned. Car is tuned for 93 octane.

AFR 165's and a newer cam would probably add another 30-40 rwhp.

Wow, that is awesome. I was planning a regular 347, but I DD my car so mileage is a concern. I saw you are still getting decent mileage (out of boost I assume) and that got me to thinking about a 306/turbo again.

The pony wheels on my car are almost perfect, the center caps are faded but the wheels are really nice, so I might just pick up new caps and leave the wheels. I'm thinking about the trick flow top end kit and eventually an S trim.

Nothing wrong with a 347.

Smaller runners will help with better economy though.

If you are thinking turbo, those guys are making some serious torque with stock everything. Pretty much the same torque I'm making and a little less hp, but talk about a wicked street combo.

Turbos or any power adder can be more maintenance and more of a headache on a DD.

Most have agreed that a fun DD package would be a set of thumper heads, cobra intake, 65 mm t-bod egr, a Cobra bumpstick. Great throttle response, high 12 second possibility on a slick, yet purrs like a kitten when your stuck in traffic. 24lb injector and a 75 mm maf.

If I had to build a DD Fox, it's how I would do it.

I know an N/A car will be easier to DD, and I know that a regular 306 with the TF top end kit would probably be more then enough for me, but I can't help wanting that 400+ number for a DD. Car isn't a strip car by any means it has too much MM road and track parts under it to hope for any decent 1/4 times. I just use my Dart for the strip.

Sorry to Project 77 for the hijack. :D
