Water pump help! please!

Hello im new on this site, well i have had a account for a little while just never got on much!! Anyways im gonna state lol. I pulled a motor out of a vert i bought for a doner car! Had a motor out of a explore gt40p heads upper lower all thats stuff! Anyways i put it in a roller coupe i had and not running power steering ac no smog just alternator and water pump. Now my problem is how do i run the belt. Right now i have the belt running over the top of the water pump pulley and over the alt. Dose it matter on the direction? thanks guys

Yes the direction matters. You will have to run a idler pulley on the drivers side so the belt has sufficient "wrap" on the pump pulley.

you need to get a standard rotation waterpump from summit or autozone. I have the same setup as you and havent had any problems at all

bump What about the alt? Dose it matter on rotation? Thanks
