Factory exhaust hangers SUCK!!

The good folks at brenspeed told me on a recent visit, that they had problems with the aftermarket catback over axle pipes rattling at times on the 2011. They evidently shifted position occasionally. Could it be the hangers that were causing that problem?

Loosen your h-pipe or x-pipe clamps and shove the mid pipe tward the engine and re-tighten.

I had the same problem and it was a muffler hangar and also the bend over the axel was hitting when going over bumps.

You might have to adjust your mufflers to where you want them to stick out the back after this. Mine went in almost an inch.

i had the same problems. constantly the exhaust would either knock or make horribly loud vibration metal on metal noises. wen i tell you i repositioned the exhaust like at least 20 time and no dice. i found that getting little chunks of rubber and sanding then so there about 3/4 of and inch thick and shoving them in the little upper section of the hanger to help keep the exhaust hanger down will help...also look and see if the hanger coming off the exhaust is touching or close to touching the actual hanger on the car. right now i have a peace of rubber rapped in heat resistant tape inbetween the two and it doesnt make a peep anymore but im going to clamp the exhaust hanger so it cant move and trim alittle bit off the cars hanger so they have a decent amount of room. but yeah the stock hangers suck! i hate them sooo much i almost put my stock exhaust back on bc of it. but now that its noise free i can relax until it gets warm again then im gunna start trimming some stuff under there.
