Paid about $2.68/gal for a full tank of 87 octane at Chevron, and Im already at half a tank after two days of driving.....
Just a question but not to get OT but I filled it with 89 octane last week and it seemed like the car got better mpg than it did with 87 and I only use Chevron fuel btw.
Did you do all of the mods or were they on the car when you purchased it? If you did them did you get a tuner for the gears or just a speedo recalibration? With a tune it will run better with the more quality gas. For me, the tunes from AM, I can have the 93 tune and still use 87 and its ok. I just have it on the 91 tune and use 89 with it.
No I added the gears to the car, I was going to buy the SCT handheld but the money went to paying my dad back for an unexpected bill that he helped me with. I wanted to work the whole summer to get the money for a SCT bc I dont like having my speedometer off but parents wanted me to take a bunch of summer courses so I couldnt save up the money by only working 15hrs a week...
I thought maybe the previous owner may have had a chip in the car but I doubt it.. Is there anyway that I can check to see if there is an aftermarket chip? Sorry for teh noobish question...

This is a typo. I paid $2.87 for 87 on Friday.
But I was very strongly tempted to post up even lower prices just to be funny
