NEW WINDOW TINT

So, I got pulled over by the Cops for window tint. California is Broke so they need all the money they can and pull anyone over for anything.

I could care less because I actually needed new window tint!!!! My previous tint was over 6 years old and was peeling in some corner. I already had the cash set aside for new window tint so It was time to make it happen!!!

After LOTS of google research and help from a Lexus Forum, I decided to take my car to a highly recommend tinter name Dave@TintZone. He got great reviews so i knew he would be a great choice. The price was Perfect also!!! I was also looking for a installer that uses Llumar tint.

To keep the costs down, I removed my old tint myself. I just used a razor blade and some Windex with Ammonia.

The Tint combo was Medium on the fronts and Dark on the corner and Rear. The tinter also used a black vinyl strip on the dot matrix on the rear window so you dont see those weird dots through the tint. Looks WAY better than my old Tint!!!

THANKS TINT ZONE FOR DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB ON MY CAR!!!!

So yesterday one of my ****ty 2300K Craigslist HID Fogs started flickering. I had them for a while now and got them from some asian off craigslist... They sometimes acted weird and i knew they would go.

DDM Tuning is like 25 mins from my house and Slim HID Kits for $35 with a Lifetime Warranty!!! Since they are local and i can always go back and get replacements I went and picked up a pair. $35 for HIDs? Thats like Super Cheap price!!! It blows my mind that HIDs this nice can be so Cheap.

I am VERY Satisfied with the quality. They are brighter and nicer colored than my old HIDs. This is The nicest HID kit you can get for $35!!!

Looks good!

New tint and new headlights/HIDs are high on my to-do list when the money comes around. I've got 35% tint, but it's looking bad and is purple-ish colored anyway, and doesn't look that good to me. Cops around here don't care about tint so long as you don't piss them off otherwise. And my headlights...yea, I won't talk about them...

are the fogs yellow or is it just the way the picture makes it look? I want to get some h.i.d. fogs but i like the way that my headlights and fogs are different colors.

Looks great!

Is there any "heat issues" with installing HIDs into the stock housing / wiring? I remember reading that somewhere once, but it may have been while researching for my old Fox and not my 04.
My cousin has used DDM in a variety of vehicles for years and swears by them. Getting these for my headlights and fogs has been high on my list of considerations for a while.

thanks

If you search around, there are quite a few complaints about ddm tuning. I've seen their bulbs burn out, and that their color values aren't what they say they are.

With that said, I have a pair of ddm 6k bulbs in my g35 (oem hid) and they have been fine for 4 months. So I personally have not had an issue....but I only bought one pair of bulbs

handz, do you have another wiring harness for your fog lights? I just purchased both headlights and fog light HID's from DDM and they gave me a wiring harness for my headlights, but not for my fog lights. I got my headlights working, but, tomorrow im going to be looking at the fog lights. Im trying to understand your wiring in the pics, but, what is supplying the male ballast plug?
