Well have been working on the car here and there since may. Did everything myself body, painting and buffing. Total cost of paint job around 500 bucks that includes everything. This is my second car that ive painted. Did this one with my home made paint booth

best advice is trial and error + alot of research. if you plan on doin your own paint job go with 2 stage base coat clear and no metallic's. The 2 stage is very forgiving and easy to fix ooopsies..

pretty much just cleaned the garage and removed as much stuff as i could. got a bunch of stand up lights. threw plastic up on all 3 sides and hosed the floor down... Had 2 box fans sucking out the fumes.. nothing special.. just make sure u have lots of lights... and dont have the compressor in the garage.. OH YEAH AND BLOW OUT ALL SOURCES OF FLAME

I always wanted a Cougar. The color of his is very close to the 67 Mustang fastback I almost got back in high school. That car was cool and looked nice, but had tons of hidden rust.

Do you have any interior pictures?

I'm also curious do the sequential tail lights work? I love those. I got the Scott Drake deluxe incandescent kit for my 65. Its about as close as I can get to that.

that is one nice cougar...........i think the wheels work well............

I agree, its sweet. You really think the wheels go with the car though? I just don't see it. They style or the size. The style might be ok, if they were just a little smaller. There is not any sidewall to the tires.
