Well i bought new shackles for my rear end. All the websites i was on had shackles that had a larger bushing on bottom and a smaller on top. I assumed these would fit and bought them. Well, i cut my old ones off and found the top bushing on mine is large, just like older mustangs. Will the old style be alright to use?

As long as you can snug them down and the bolts don't flop around in the bushings, yes they'll work
