Motive Gears T LOK at my door step!! Help?!

I finally received my 4.10 gears and my frpp tlock! Unfortunately, I have work all day tomm and can not get them installed until wednesday. I am getting it for 30o bucks from this place called HOOPERS REAR END in southern california, slymar. Has anyone been there

I am worried about a lot of things and I was wondering if you guys could help me out?

1. These guys have been doing rear ends for 30 years, and after I asked about the rear end whine, he replied by saying "I cant guarantee that there will be no whine .We'll just have to see" These are motive gears, and I hope theyre experienced enough to install it right. Do any of you have whine at all on your motive gears.

2. The break in period is 500 miles with no constant speed of 50 to 60 miles. I have to drive on the freeway for 45 minute to even get to this place. How am I suppose to get home after the install? I cant just drive 45 mph on the 5 freeway. Also, 500 miles for me would take more than a month because i drive only about 20 miles a day. Work and School is all nearby. Does that mean I cant even romp the crap out of it until 2011? haha

3.There is no frpp 4.10 gears for a 7.5 rear so I had to get the motives. I have heard a lot of people having problems with them. How long have your motives lasted you guys. More than a year or longer with no problems and no 2nd visits to the shop?

4. My Tlock is from ford racing and my gears are motives. Does it matter?

I just wanna say thank you for everyones answers!

1. I've only had FRPP gears, but they never whined.

2. Take as many surface streets home as possible. I wouldn't go over 45 on the way home if they were mine. You'll want to drive it about 10 miles and let it fully cool. Then drive it about 30 miles and let it fully cool. Repeated heat/cool cycles will help with the break-in. With a numerically high gear and differential swap you can trash it during break in if you leave the shop and drive freeway speeds overheating it. I wouldn't romp on it for 500 miles.

3. You shouldn't have any problems if you break them in properly and get new fluid and friction modifier after 500 miles.

4. Doesn't matter, they are compatible.

The gears mainly just add more get up and go, you do lose some top end speed and gas mileage though. If you get gears def get the FRPP LSD for getting both rear wheels moving and for extra grip.
Intake and tune is a must if you want more power out of your car, its a night and day difference and well worth the money. You'll also need a tune anyway if you get the gears to recalabrate your speedometer.
