She's not much now....But it's startin' to come together!

93 lx hatch reef blue roller. Began life as a 4cyl, but it's seen several 5.0's.
Hopefully soon she'll see a 408w and a TKO trans...some fresh reef blue paint and the good ol' draglites.:nice:

Not the best pics, but they're all I've got for now. I'll post better ones later, when I can get it out of the shop.

looks like a great start i like the color keep us posted on progress

Thank you! Hey, I saw your new ride. Sweet! Saleens are great.Tons of potential. Man there are so many people on this board with killer cars it's unbelievable....I'm stoked about making mine as nice as those....:hail2:

Thanks, guys! I've always liked blue. Never paid much attention to the reef blue until I saw this one, and I love it. LarsD, you probably did. I live south of Houston, and this was on Austin Craigslist. It was a drive, but worth it. The guy I bought it from was named Darrell. Really cool guy. He had three foxes and a 20,000 mile convertible terminator when I showed up with the trailer. Lucky devil.

I paid $900 for it. It's got a brand new set of headlights in it, just installed. Ahh, let's see...interior is in good shape, minus doorpanels. All the rear interior quarters and misc. trim is still there and in pretty good shape, seats, dash all pretty nice. Body is straight, save for a few minor dings. Absolutely no rust. I crawled over under and thru it, not a speck. No sign of collision under the hood.Paint is origional and needs to be redone.(soon) It's got 2 1/2 inch Flowmaster catback, 8.8 with what I was told are 4.56 gears( haven't popped the cover and counted them yet..) Southside Machine boxed lowers and lift bars. Don't know yet If I'll keep the lift bars... and what looks like a summit or a jegs fuel pump...(last engine in it was carbed)... That's about it. The mad dash for parts is on....

No need to pop the cover.Just mark the driveline and turn the rear wheels and count how many revolutions the drive shaft turns. So 4 and a little over 1/2 turns would be 4.56 peace

Yeah, counting the drive shaft turns does wind up being easier...I'm kinda hoping it's a 4.10 instead.....

Thanks for the greetings, everybody!
