My Engine is Out of My Car Update...

Not sure who was around back in late 04 when I purchased my brand new 05 Mustang GT, but just wanted to update on Ford doing the right thing.

For a long read one night...ended up Ford replaced my Mustang.

My son bought my 05 and I bought this from Ford.

Still loving the Mustangs and the 05 is as strong as ever with Magnacharger Blower and 40K on the clock. Christmas brought a Boom Tube exhaust for the 05 which sounds great.

I went back and read your original 2004 thread. I'm glad it eventually all worked out for you. And congrats on the 2011! I test drove a 2011 GT a few weeks ago and it put my 2004 GT to shame, even though I had a bit of a time getting it into reverse at first. I can only imagine what your GT500 is like.

I really wish I hadn't driven the 2011 because now I really, really want one. Too bad I'm paying on a 2010 F150 FX4 for next next few years.

The end of 04 was a tough time for me and Ford for sure. Still a fan as I sold a 2007 Z06 to buy the GT500. Who knew Ford doesn't make Corvettes...Just because you don't have a Stang you are driving a very nice ride. We had a Lariat F150 for seven years of faithful service.
