Looks good but IMO they would blend in more if your interior (or at least your seats) were black.

In case you didn't know, those headrests are extremely rare and worth some decent $$$. They were available only on the 1983 GT as an option. Even if you you don't like how they look on your car now I would still hold on to them if I were you.

Ya I'm planning on recovering the seats in black with gray center (like 03 cobras) getting a black carpet and floor mats, a black dash pad (and black rear hatch panels) I also know how rare these are that's why i was glad to trade a .60 over 302 from a 67 mustang for them (also got a valve job on credit) got motor for free for doing a motor swap so overall i'm happy and if i get tired of em i'll post em here before ebay.

The netted "halo" headrest were part of the Sport Performance seats in '83 and those seats were optional in the ...

... GL coupe and hatchback
... GLX coupe, hatchback, and convertible
... GT hatchback and convertible
... Turbo GT hatchback

In other words, the only model the seats were not optional in was the L coupe.
