Finally, a Supercharger!!

Everything I've read on the subject states that 450hp is the max the stock block can safely handle. I've never seen Roush or Saleen run that kind of power without upgrading almost ALL the major components of the drivetrain. I would keep the psi pretty low until someone with more experience than me told me otherwise. BTW, that was 450hp at the flywheel.

The research I found states 500 RWHP is the max and thats what my kit will produce. Actually a little bit less. There is no question I will have to be gentile.

I didn't see anything for fuel listed, did the Lethal guys say that you can run that power on the stock fuel pump without a boost-a-pump? I'm sure the kit is coming with at least a new set of injectors.
!

The kit comes with the factory Ford Mustang GT500 fuel system. Dual pumps and wiring harness and fuel injectors. Thanks for the tips, I appreciate it!

It just depends on how you plan on using the car. If you're daily driving with power in reserve, jumping on it here and there, you're good. If you beating on it or racing it, you're going to heat it up and likely have problems.

When I put a Paxton Novi 2200 on my 05 GT it made 485rwhp with 5 lbs of boost with no issues. It really is in how you drive the car. The only issue I came across was my factory 5R55S auto trans. Went with a Level 10 Animal Kit internal build for the trans and I have never had a issus since. I wouldnt aim for 550rwhp unless you build the internals like everyone else is recommending. I went with Livernois for my internals. Just recently swapped the pullies and went to a 8 rib belt. I know its not what you want to hear but you might want to build your block first before you try boosting that much hp. But if you run the whipple at the out the box psi you should be fine and will enjoy it!

Word of advice

I have a Saleen supercharger and i love it but make sure you are really sure about your tune because I actually had my engine blow up because my tune that I had cause major engine failure and I had to rebuild my engine with forged pistons and connecting rods, that 550hp isn't what you will really be pushing just because I know it wont, even with you your pully boosting 11 psi, but i'm happy for you man, supercharger power is great but just make sure you put racing spark plugs in or you will melt your stock ones, believe me I know about that LOL if you want to know anymore about what your getting into let me know i would be glad to help you make sure you don't make the same mistake I did and cost you about $12,000!
