OK this has been driving me NUTS and no one can seem to help me
Vehicle is a 2008 mustang GT Manual.
Mods CAI Shorty headers and a SCT tune
Problem is when i am going over 50 ish and i push the clutch in to coast my cars tac drops down to 400 rpms might bounce back to 750 and then stalls.
i have tightened my MAF, i have looked all over for a vacuum leak(sprayed hoses with eather even so if it was leaking then the revs would jump a little) i have re-tuned it numerous times. i unpluged the battery and went through the process with idiling till it warms up then let the ac run for a minute or so then drive it to recalibrate the idle parameters. NOTHING seems to work! when the car is in the driveway it runs fine, when im driving it runs fine. when im going under 40 it wont do it. anyone know why?

Did you drive for at least 20-50 miles after installing/reinstalling the tune, and after disconnecting the battery.
Did you clean the MAF sensor and the TB?

i did drive about 30 miles after reconnecting the battery, cleaned the MAF. i was hesitant to clean the TB because i was under the impression that they have a teflon coating or something and wasnt sure what to use on it. I also just added some seafoam to the vaccum line maybe that will help im letting it marinate now.

Seafoam is good stuff. It eliminated a pinging problem on my 05 GT.

If the problem persists after the Seafoam treatment, then suggest cleaning the TB. Auto parts stores sell a chemical spray that will not damage the TB's Teflon coating.

Its a "Tunable Inductions" cold air intake. not a well known company out of NC. It looks very similar to a JLT, same design. The cai actually was leaking before and it ran lean and threw a CEL. I sealed the intake up and molded it all together.

As for the seafoam, i ran it through and also tried to clean the MAF again. one of the two made a little difference. now it will run at about 60 and try to correct itself a couple times before it stalls. the faster i try it though the worse it gets
