SACHS OEM replacement clutch. Has a Lifetime Warranty from O'Reilly's!!!

I have had the Centerforce DF clutch and the sachs clutch is WAY better feeling and better drivability.

I have had good luck with an auto parts store replacement clutch in two of my T45 cars. I also like the Spec Stage 1 that I'm currently running in my T45 Mod-Fox car. Both clutches were around 249 and like said above...auto parts stores can give you a lifetime warranty. Spec is like 90 days, which by the time my project was done, the 90 days was up. LOL.

I only go with SACHS now..... Centerforce and Spec are just waste of time and money.

i had a centerforce II in my 95, which i liked. good pedal, not a whole lot stiffer than stock. currently have a stocker in my 00. i will replace it with a stock replacement when the time comes because i love the soft comfortable pedal. makes driving so more enjoyable IMO. having said, my car doesnt make much power either.

i have driven 3 cars with a spec clutch : a terminator, 94 gt and a 96 gt. i HATED driving each one of them simply because of the clutch. its all or nothing, theres no slipping it. and its STIFF. i realize its somewhat made to be this way, being a higher hp clutch, but i just dont like them.

Those lifetime warranties have limitations, one shouldn't buy a clutch kit simply on that warranty. Everytime a clutch goes bad its always becaue of user error:rolleyes:, which voids the lifetime warranty, there is always some hidden clause.
Thats probaly a benifit of having a reputable/professional company do the install so they can deal w/the heat coming from these companies if the purchased car part fail, installing internals is second on my list.

Actually The ONLY limitation on the clutch warrenty is that you must have proof showing you used a New or Resurfaced Flywheel..... Other than that they they give you a new clutch no matter what.

I have actually already used the Warranty on my SACHS clutch once already..... and it was no questions asked.... I just said the clutch was 'defective' and they gave me a new one....:nice:

I have a RAM Powergrip and love it. It was acceptable without my Vortech, and is still holding strong now with 380rwhp. Might be a little too much for a stock car, or someone who prefers a lighter pedal, the HDX is something that offers decent holding power without a killer pedal. My RAM has never let me down..

My car currently has all bolt ons and is driven less than 2k per year. It will be boosted soon enough, so whatever clutch I get has to be able to handle up to 400 rwhp ish.

What do stock Cobras have?

Dang, when one finds a company the doesn't try to "weasel" there way out of a warranty, keep buying there products, need more companies selling like that.:nice:
