2004 Mustang GT looking 4 1st upgrades

The stock subs are crappy little things. You want MM full length subs welded in with the car on a lift supported by the tires, not the frame. Makes a big improvement to the stiffness of a vert.

I just got the MM full lengths installed on my Cobra a couple of weeks ago. $125 for the connectors, $125 for the install, totally worth it. The car has Steeda springs on it with 03 Cobra Bilsteins, and you could feel them working against the center of the car. Now with the subs on it, it is a totally different car. I drove my 91 for a couple of years without subs on it, and after I got them installed I vowed that sub frames would be one of the first things I do to a car from now on.

what gears would you guys recommend for a stock 03 gt, i plan on eventually supercharging it, but that is going to come later. Looking to get the most bang

1st off thank you everyone for your .02 cents

2nd if your thinking about getting a supercharger and it's stick i would be debating of getting 3.55 or 3.73s if it's auto 3.73 or 4.10 again im a fox body guy not a sn95 guy so my opinions/ advise only goes so far but if you have a stick and you drive the car on a daily basis 4.10 gears will probaly get on your nerves 3.73 will make a big enough difference to where you will be happy feel the pull difference and put a smile on your face, depending on how far down the road this supercharger will be depends if i would entrain the 3.55 idea
thats my idea

3rd LarsD get rid of the WRX and sink money into the FOX

If you are ABSOLUTELY positive that you will be supercharging it in the future then I wouldn't go higher than 3.73. I am have 4.10's and traction is already a problem. I could only imagine how much worse it would be if I had another 100+rwhp

If I had to do it over again ...

I'd do 4.10s, sticky rubber, LCAs, and a Vortech kit for the stock car (not a tuner kit), and I think I would have been really happy. To get a little bit more out of the car, I would add a throttle body and plenum, an aftermarket x-pipe with cats, and a cat-back.

I've done a whole lot more to my car than that, so now I'm in over my head LOL! I did cams, then a Vortech tuner kit (10 PSI), and I ended up with a blown shortblock, so now I've got to replace the shortblock, upgrade the fuel system, intercool it, and while I'm at it, I might as well add some more boost, and so on and so on!
