Ebay

I buy quite a few vehicles off of ebay and bring them up to Canada. Ebay has some pretty good deals usually on 05 Mustangs.

Just make sure you do your research on the car and get in contact with the person to speak to them about the car. You can also read their feedback scores on there to see what others have replied about their service.

Happy hunting!

Probably the first thing to consider is......
Where can I find an 05 GT in excellent condition with low miles?
Take a look at cars.com and you will see a good selection to give you
an idea of whats out there. Then go lowball someone and see what happens.

Craigslist has a ton of them on there, I just looked at LA and there are about 50 of them posted in the last few days. Might be some deals in there if you can cut dealers out of it.

LA can be tough to find a CLEAN, low-mileage car for a decent price. Most are trashed and/or high-mileage. It CAN be done, but the ones worth having go FAST, so you've got to be ready to move quickly. I lost out on several nice cars... they were gone before I could get there. But... you just have to keep pluggin away... eventually, you'll find one. Two years ago, I lost out on an '04 special anniversary GT premium 'vert (loaded, ruby red, parchment top & interior, arizona beige stripes & wheels) with less than 4000 miles on it. That one still haunts me... it was flawless... and a really good deal at $13k. Five months later, I found my current '05 GT deluxe 'vert... excellent condition, 22k miles, & equipped just the way I wanted it. Decently priced at $16k. As soon as I saw it, I knew I was gonna buy it. Sometimes it just works that way! But I had time on my side... I didn't HAVE to buy a car (it wasn't my DD), so I could wait for the right one to come along.

I searched (not in LA of course but just as an example) autotrader, vehix, and cars.com every day for about two months and ended up picking up my '06 GT with only 7K on the clock back in August for $15K. So just be vigilant, and don't settle til you find as close to what you want as possible. The ONLY thing I would want different on mine is the color, but I couldn't pass up the low mileage.

The question I ask is, How cheap? What price range are you looking?
When I was looking for mine I found an 05 GT for under 11K. The miles were almost at 100K, but it looked decent, obviously probably not a good buy though. I did see a few 05 GTs in the 13-15K range that looked really good, but agian depending on your price range you could go newer. I just got my 07 GT, bone stock with 28000 miles for 18K (thats a disadvantage to Cali, the dealers will fight to the death to not take money off a sale, but they were asking 23K, and it was the color and options I wanted).

Also if your a california resisdent be careful about buying AND registering a vehicle in your name out of state (esp. nevada), they will come after you to try get their money. They hounded me for a minute when I first registered a car in Cali and still had one registered in my name in PA, and I'm not a resident.

your best bet is ford dealerships or new car dealerships in general - that's where people usually trade in the best cars - keep checking the websites and looking .....remember miles, miles, miles, are the main 'key' - try and get the best car with the lowest miles - for the lowest price - be picky and patient - when you go look - throw it up on a lift - bring it to a bod shop(no hits) - research the 'piss' out of it - before you buy - bargain hard - throw 'monkey' wrenchs at the sales manager (the sales person is just a greeter/turn key ) - remember what they give you on the sales floor they take back in the finance room. Bring a tuff friend and have him barter for you - your at a disadvantage - you want the car.

+1 works every time. Me and My wife have a deal that if she wants a car I say yes or no, and if I want one she does. Although she doesn't drive as hard a bargain as I do. we bought her last car and were never upside down on it, got a 100K bumper 2 bumper and extra Insurance. :D

I gotta agree that Craigslist is an awesome place to find cars. I just bought a 2006 Roush Stage 3 for $19200 off Craigslist. I spent a good two months looking for a car before I saw this one and decided to go take a look. It takes some time to find the one that you want...but most likely, one will appear.
