I'm looking at getting a set of 1 3/4th to go w/ my new heads but I'm stuck on which mid pipe I should go with that will match up well. I want a shorty X pipe ( H pipe if need be ) and it has to have cats for inspection purposes. I'm kind of limited for options so what do you guys have that run Accufab long tubes? Ive looked into BBK and VRS. Ive heard the BBK does not flow all that well and VRS said their mid pipes are meant for the MAC and BBK long tubes but I'm not sure if they would also bolt right up to the Accufab's or not.

I'll have to do that once I'm ready to go ahead and order them. I just want to be sure I'll find a mid pipe that will fit correctly or doing the long tubes wont really matter

I have the 1 3/4 LT's with 3" collector and 3" spread pattern for canfield heads (als has slightly lifted exh ports).

I had no clearance problems except that if I left the stock k-member in I would have had to pull the engine out to change the starter, so I got a Racecraft k-member for clearance.

I will caution you that the Accufab "H-pipe" is not a pre-assembled unit. You have to weld the "H" and some cutting of the length was neccesary in my case. This did allow my builder to get the collector and h-pipe tucked up VERY tight against the subframe.

I would definitely recommend both, but just know that some tweaking of the hpipe is necessary, and clearance with the stock k-member will be close to nothing.
