what kind of oil to use when breaking in new cam/lifters?

Just put in a new cam and lifters what kind of oil is best? I know something with zinc in it.. But whats the best?

i know 15-40 rotella has zinc in it.

Hey,are you running a roller cam or flat tappet??? 2 completely different ways of break-in!!!

Roller cam.. ford racing cam and lifters..

Just use the same oil that you plan on running and maybe prime the pump.

It's the flat tappets that need the special attention...

Ding,Ding,Ding! We have a winner! Further more Comp Cams doesnt even list a break in procedure for a Roller Cam. Only lists one for Flat Tappet.
