I'm looking to buy this bad boy for my '06 V6 'Vert. I found a REALLY, REALLY good price on one locally.

Blitzsafe - FORD / CAN M-LINK2

My only quibble is that I can't seem to find any mention of it playing podcasts. The menu that comes up in the one video I have found seems to default to the "Music" menu's options.

The only reason this is even remotely important is because the wife drives my car a lot and listens to podcasts primarily, so I just wanted to make sure that this supports those because I go tearing my Shaker 500 deck out of the car. LOL

I had one of the iPod adapters in my car when I bought it. Since I have an iPhone 4, it was not supported (at least not the charging function). The unit would play my music, and to play a podcast I had to get it playing on the phone prior to plugging the port in. That way it would play whatever I wanted to play. Anytime I wanted to change music (podcast) I had to unhook the phone and then make my selection and reconnect it. A pain, but it worked.

I just swapped my Shaker 500 head unit for an after market deck that supports my phone via a USB connection. Always something you can consider. If you have the Shaker 500 or Shaker 1000 you can buy an adapter and still use your factory amps, subs, speakers. I spent $20 for an adapter - skip the $100 unit at Crutchfield. You don't need all that it supports.
