i have a coast 347 stroker kit in my car.
we had to send the crank out to have it reground as there was nowhere near enough bearing clearance. it was supposed to be ready to assemble.
other than that it has been a good quality kit.

I heard that the eagle and scat cranks come from China and several other people have had clearance issues with their cranks. I don't know how much merit there is to this and would like to know more as well.
That has nothing to do with CHP though. Although they balance their kits, I'd still have them checked for the above mentioned issues. Have heard good things about the company as well. Wouldn't hurt to ask them about the journals.

+1. Rick did a nice job on my Dart engine. Granted I haven't started it yet, but it does look pretty on the stand in my garage.

RNH Performance -Street and Race Engines, Custom Fabrication and don't look back. He has a great rep and stands by his stuff. Like stated before there are benefits when using a quality builder.

I have never used anything from RNH, but he has a fantastic reputation here on the boards and throughout the mustang community; plus he is a member here....why not atleast call him up and see what he can do?
