I am thinking about buying a Dart based 363 long block from them but have read some bad reviews on other sites. Anybody have experience with them? It's a pretty big investment and I want to get it right.

i have a coast 347 stroker kit in my car.

we had to send the crank out to have it reground as there was nowhere near enough bearing clearance. it was supposed to be ready to assemble.

other than that it has been a good quality kit.

I heard that the eagle and scat cranks come from China and several other people have had clearance issues with their cranks. I don't know how much merit there is to this and would like to know more as well.

That has nothing to do with CHP though. Although they balance their kits, I'd still have them checked for the above mentioned issues. Have heard good things about the company as well. Wouldn't hurt to ask them about the journals.
