Mr. Self Destruction... My 93 Mustang...

It was a beautiful morning today. Decided to try my hand at snapping a few photo's on my car. The camera is just a cheap 14mp Nikon point and shoot. Nothing fancy. I don't really have any artistic talent here, just chose what I though looked cool...

What do you think?

I like the concept, and I love the background, but the background is not really good for a car needing a paint job. A basic parking lot or field shoot may be better for right now. Just curious, do you got plans for paint?

eventually... Just not sure...

People say i should finish the interior and leave the outside alone...

I like the "rat-rod-esqueness" about it...

I think you should never paint that car. Just make sure it is rust free and build it to be stupid fast.

What wheels are those?

Lol, trying to make it stupid fast... getting there...

wheels are 17x8, 17x9.5 American Racing VN402 polished. I traded a set of 03-04 Mach1 wheels stock fronts and 17x10.5's that were bent for them.... I think they fit the car...

Thanks for the complements!!

yeh that car looks like old skool, all business. keep it rust free and running perfect.

change that, paint the window trim so the shine dont show through.

Is it possible to keep the tilt wheel function with an sn95 dash/wheel setup in a fox?

Yup.

Everything from the steering wheel to the hubs is from a 2001 GT. That way there isnt anything custom that I can't get parts for anywhere.

I actually fit better in this car now with this interior then with the fox interior. I can put the wheel where I want, the seat (power) and even though I am 6'5" I have plenty of room for everything...

I cut the firewall out from the floor to right above the mastercylinder and welded in the factory booster mount and spherical bearing that the steering shaft rides in.

Plus using a 94-95 GT cluster allowed me to use a 93 GT wiring harness ( car was a butchered 4cylinder swapped carbed mess) and all the colors lined up with the connectors for the new cluster...

Alot of colors carry over, HVAC, Cruise, Radio (minus the MACH 1000 stuff) the only thing that I had to fight with was the wiper controller... they changed the resistance values in the multifunction switch sometime in 99, so using a 95 controller and the newer switch caused many undesirable effects... Had to get the 95 MFS to make it work....

Sorry.... I can keep going and going and going....

looks mean.
Im doing the same interior swap to my project yours looks good the rest of the interior would not be too hard to get done. I agree make the interior look good leave the outside untill your really really ready

My only suggestion... Lower it and get those wheels/tires tucked up into the fender wells.

To do that, I would have to run fox length axles in the rear and swap spindles up front with the 94-95 stuff...

My rear is comprised of an 87 T-bird turbo coupe center section w/ 3.55 gears and 86 SVO axles, backing plates, calipers and rotors. 11.3" vented disc's and an 8.8...

the front is all 2001 GT.

I would love to lower it more, but I drive this daily and like having the suspension there to take the bumps....
