70mm throttle body spacer

been looking around for a throttle body spacer to fit my 04 GT but cant find any that arent made for the OEM throttle body. does anyone know some that would fit and if so could you provide a link or the brand name or just any info lol thanks ahead of time.

There are plenty of good plenums out there. Depends on how you want it to look and how much your budget is. If your budget allows it the accufab is one of the best and has the best gains from what I have seen. Although the difference in NA hp between different aftermarket plenums is on the order of ~2rwhp. I've heard the trickflow is good too.

thanks a lot DarkGT. after doing more research it has come to my attention that what i have on there now is actually the accufab plenum with 70mm throttle body. i just bought the car so i hadnt really looked too much at that until today. im still new to this thing lol

i would still like to try out a throttle body spacer though. i know what all the people on here say but i think this is something i would like to try out anyways. do you know of any 70mm spacers that would fit on the accufab throttle body and plenum?

do they even make them?

The spacer really is just throwing money out the window. The Accufab is a good choice for an upper plenum though.

The throttle body spacer is an old modification from back in the carb days. These people aren't lying- it is only effective mod for carb cars because they mix fuel with air early on in the process ("wet intake") and this device helps regulate that mixing. Think about it, w/ a fuel injected car all you are doing is extending the length of tube air has to go through before the combustion chamber. There is no fuel in the air intake on our cars. It offers absolutely no advantage, if anything it would increase resistance and worsen performance.

Any plenum is better than stock and the advice above is absolutely true. A spacer is a total waste of money. That's why they are hard to find,cause they are useless
