Ford vs Motive gears question

Hey all, I am in the process of ordering a 7.5" T-lok diff and 3.73 gears for my '08 V6 5 speed. I am having a hard time finding Ford gears and when I do see them they are significantly more expensive than the Motive alternative. From what I can read, I should run away from the Richmonds. I have seen a few posts commenting that the Motive gears tend to whine a bit more. Can anyone say if this is true, and how much whine? Is it noticeable over the exhaust sound? Is it enough of an issue that the Ford gears are worth the price? Or is this an installation issue? I am always willing to pay a bit more for a noticeably better part. This will never be a supercharged or turbo'd or NOS car, but I do like to play, and play hard sometimes. Suggestions or arguments either way would be appreciated. thanks

Why are the motive gears THAT much louder? I've seen that Motive makes a 3.90 rear gear for my 8.8 which is a perfect mix between the 3.73 that's too little improvement and the 4.10 that's too much for a car that sees as many highway miles as mine (plus supercharger is in the works in a couple years). Since FRPP doesn't have a 3.90, I was really looking at the Motive gear. Is it bad quality, harder to install, what? I don't want the car to have horrible gear whine, I like to hear my exhaust when i have the stereo off.

Motives are usually louder because of a harder compound and a different machining process.
