I can't not stop this (free) stupid dual fuel line from leaking. They sure make installation on the DVD look so easy. It states not to use any sealer. Any tricks on how to stop this garbage fuel line from leaking?

It might help if we knew where it was leaking. The Summit carb has brass fittings in the inlets, and the fuel line is an inverted flare. The IF fitting is the same type used on brake lines, and must be straight and square to seal. Sealant goop, RTV, and Teflon tape would be worse than useless in an IF fitting, they would actually cause leaks. The brass fittings must be tight, too.

Just put one on and had the same problem, flare fitting on the chrome line leaked at the rear carb inlet. Took it apart 4 times and finally just decided to put a wrench on the brass inlet and another on the line fitting and give it a good hard turn to tighten. Viola, the leak quit.

Do not put force on those flares - you are going to ruin your carb otherwise.

I used gas resistant, hard rubber o-rings, placed between flare and seat, finger-tightened sealed OK so far.

Jeeze, now you tell me, I've been tightening flare nuts with flare nut wrenches for years. :)
